Wow, it seems that we'd better not "skip" the classes of this coming Sunday. Otherwise, we won't be able to answer these two tough questions (especially the #2 one).....

1. Why did you want to study Business English?

You got me! To say the truth, at first, I really don't want to study Business English.
It is because I have no choice since the course is set. We have to take the class.
I am afraid of "Business" and “Business English".
But I made up my mind to study it well since it is a useful course.
“AND WE HAVE A QULIFIED TEACHER!”
After taking the first class, I’ve been in love with the course.

2. Do you use English at work?

Yes, I use English at work a lot. I have to speak in English while I am teaching.
But those are daily life talking and textbook English.

3. What is your typical working day?

I don't have typical working day since my working time will be changed by students or companies from time to time. It is usually from Monday to Friday during the afternoon to the late evening but the timetable can be varied after a term.
 

A right person would be a capable person with the basic skill and knowledge in his field. However, being a boss, I would perfer someone with more experience and self-confidence. I used to be an employee for years, I was described such as " couraged, braveness, ambitious and communicative worker, good at negociation.." Cathycat

I think the sales position should have some qualities.First, he/she should be a self-stater, and then he/she can find the customers himself/herself. Secondly, he/she have to know the psychology of the customers. He/She has to know how they thought.

If I am interviewed for the dream job, I think I will tell the recruiter about my work history and tell him all my experience. I will emphasized that I want to learn everything new if the company need me to do something I don't know. I am glad to learn everything. In addition, I will be very steady in my job.

1. In my opinion, I think to be a top seller must getting alone with people very well, sometimes requires more patience,kindness,warm smile, dressing well and a sense of humore is also important. These qualities must be able to let their clients to buy more.

2. When I am interviewed for the dream job, I probably would try my best to let this company know how much I love this job and also dream about it:) I would describe myself are like easy going, patient, honesty, and never give up for doing the "right" thing.
 

1.)Apart from having the essential skills, such as computer literacy and English ability, applicants should also have the following abilities.

a.)Basic Knowledge on the position they apply for.

d.)Have hobbies or interest in certain activities: A proverb says “Sales is a taxing and thankless job.” Sales can be very stressful sometimes. With hobbies, you can at least balance yourself from work.

2.)When I am interviewed for the dream job, in the beginning I would stress my work experiences related to this position to the recruiter. Then I would describe myself as a self-starter、responsible、efficient 、a quick learner and organized person to the recruiter. Next, I would bring up other skills I have or the current courses related this field I attend in order to impress the recruiter.
 

1. If I were a manager,I will hire a sales person who has some essential qualities. First, the person should have the career ethics. My client had ever be cheated by his salesman who took away a whole month of his receivables. Second, the person who should have responsibilities and a self-driven personalities. To develop the new customers is a big challenge to the salesperson. Three, the person is skilled in dealing with a sudden situation.EQ is more important than IQ on a sales person. Four, the person is good in communicating with varieties of people. He/she need a good eloquence.

2.When I have a interview for my dream job, I will submit my diploma, working experiences and a proposal about my working view when entering your company. When be asked about my expecting salary, I would like to obey the company's regulation among the three months of training. After that period, I hope you can give me the suited salary depending on my real working performances.

There is no way to succeed except diligence. I think diligence is a primary quality a salesman need. He should be self-motivated so that he knows what to do and what to learn to achieve his goal. With an enthusiasm of service for people is also indispensable.

When I am interviewed for the dream job, what will I do? I don’t like to describe what personalities I have.
What I do is to tell the recruiter what I think about the matters and how I solve the problems happened at work in the past. Never give up and never stop learning are the two principles I insist.
 

From my point of view, the right person for sales position is that one must be good at communication. Plus, one who has responsibility, positive attitude and self-confidence,and one who can work independently. With all above characters, of couse, as privious classmates said,"One should have basic skills and knowledge".
 

1.Except for well-knowledged,skillful and self-driven, and doing things systematically,I think the most important factors to be a good sales is having good relationship with people: keeping in touch with the customers to let them feel your sincere concerns and to be a trustworth person and be their friends. By the way,after sales service is also important.
2.First,I'll search the related information about the company of which I'm dreaming in order to get more ideas.Second,to express my desire of working there while interview and offer my working experiences and the licences if possible. 1.The right person whom I am looking for would be a person with strongly proactive and responsible for his job. As a sales, he has to deal with everything by himself effectively.

2.When I am interviewed for my dream job, I think I would tell the interviewer what I am good at、my experience in this area and my perspectives on this position. If there were something that I am not familiar with, I would pay my all attention to learn it and do it as well as I could.

If I were to have an interview for my dream job, I would first prepare a powerful resume. Since employers receive numerous resumes for each position, it is extremely important that my resume is easily-digested, attractive and powerful.

1. A salesman’s job is to sell goods. That means “communication” and “service” are the most important skills to be a successful salesman. Therefore, a person who is considered to be qualified as a “right” salesman had better has some particular characteristics described below. Firstly, a good salesman should be self-motivated, self-driven and proactive in order to expand his business. Next, his personality of confident and enthusiastic can leave a good impression on the potential customers. Besides, a good-looking and the gift of eloquent will be a plus for being an excellent salesman. Finally, it must be a big help if he use a methodical and systematic method to manage the customers’ data and need.

2. I should enjoy and love it if it is my dream job. That also means I must be suitable for that job, no matter in my skills or personalities. Therefore, I would like to be myself and present myself in an honest and polite manner in its recruitment, including my goodness and weakness. After all, I know myself well, and the interviewers understand what they need indeed. That’s why he should be able to help we both to make a good judgment in whether I am suitable for that position or not.
 

The salesman should always be motivated to do the job. The person must accept personal responsibility and be a self starter. In the field, the salesman I am looking for must possess strong computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Excel so he or she can utilize the program to calculate the price and to keep up with inventory. Speaking of how I deliver myself in an important interview for my dream job. First of all, I will dress smart and profession for the interview because I understand this first impression will often be gained within the first few seconds of my walking into the room. I will introduce myself to the interviewers with the appropriate manners. Most likely, they will always ask why you want to work her or why I choose this job. I will be concise and clear to talk intelligently about my interest in this field and my motivation for it. It is very important that I emphasize on how my previous working experience is directed related and how much my competence meet the qualifications of this job that I am eager to get. In my opinion, I would like to say who is self-starter, methodical and motivated can be the right person for the sale position. Besides, the right person should be skilled in communicating, good with people and willing to work with large groups.

First, I will do my own research before the interview so that I will know well about my dream job and the company.
