I am convinced that I am on the right track to have Ss coming up to the poduim and delivering a speech. Running a toastmaster club had certainly inspired me to explore deeper to this form of communication. It seems natural to talk in front of the public, but it takes a lot of scaldfodling to the build-up. There are phrases and techniques to level up. However, the very first step is to feel the butterfly in the stomach. Last week's session was quite an achievement, for not only I saw 2 ladies strode over their very first steps and delivered a sophiscated presentaion on the book of the tipping point also they orchestrated their parts of speech in harmony and reinforced each other's points. The only drawback is the time controlling. Hope to have the chance to bring them back again for the presentation. 2 thumbs up!
