2006 Business English Reading Curriculum
This is not a course to prepare you for TOEIC or IELTS . But I am hoping after the program, you will have the basic understanding in business & development and be able to grip a point or two in business publications.
Our program format is as follows:
1. In-class discussion 20%
2. Online posting 10%
3. Mid-term 30%
4. Final 40%

A1~Actually, I have few ideas about Business English. Hmnn... That's why I take this course.

I haven't the envirnment which I can speak English . I am common univertsity student . In socetity scient that I have confidence,but in English departmnt which I were
only traditional student in Taiwan [only test]

Q1. What are the right person you are looking for the sales position?
A1. To be eligible for the sales position, the character of eloquant, well-informed, diligent, self-confident and responsible are required.
Q2. How do you describe yourself when you are interviewed for the dream job? Think how to deliver your best performance.
A2. In addition to the neat and apropriate dressing, I will establish the interviewer my enormous ambition, recognized qualification and professional ability and let the interviewer know there is not any compensation for lossing my loyal service in the firm.

A1.Although this course is set by the authority in school board, I regard Businese English is an effective access to improve my ability to communicate with foreign people, furthermore it is a good way to understand the customs and manners of the U.S.
Q2.Do you use English at work?
A2.About couple years ago, I was a clerk in the sales department in a company which produced medical equipment and exported the product around the world. Every day after I went into my office, the first thing I should cope with was to receive masseages from my foreign customer via E-mail and started the procedure to produce the product and arranged the shipment afterwards. Presently I work in a after school center, now and then I use English to solve the problem comes from my pupil's English study.
Q3. What is your typical working day?
A3. I work from Am11:00 to Pm7:00.
Most of my duty is to help the pupil's study.
